Naturally Dyed Hand-Knit Toques

Hand-knit 100% wool toques dyed with avocado skins, onion skins, marigold, cutch and walnut husks.

These toques were made with sustainably sourced wool yarn that I hand-dyed with a variety of natural dyes then knit into chunky toques. Each toque had to be dyed separately and carefully so the yarn wouldn’t shrink, then knit by hand over the course of about 4 hours. They are made with the most love and attention to detail possible.
